I cannot believe that it is exactly one year ago when I had the first ladies join me for our craft lessons. Since then I have met some lovely ladies and made some wonderful friends. Thank you all for being part of this venture and for enriching my life.
I have also been invited to sell some of my creations in a lovely store in Frimley – The Pottery Gift House
You will be able to find my little bags, ceramic platters and some felted soaps. Do pop into the store, there are great gifts and should you be planning a wedding Sarah Jane will be of great help too.
Have you every been berry picking? It is great fun and I managed to find some elderberry flowers too which have been made into a delicious cordial, another first for me.
If you live or are visiting the Berkshire/Surrey are do pop into Grays’s Farm for a few strawberries and other delicious treats. As you will be in the area make sure to pay a visit to Holme Grange Craft Village, a fantastic array of individual shops, local crafts and much more. I loved the Little Craft Barn, especially their wool selection. It seams to have grown considerably over the last year and as well as stocking the well known brands it has some delightfully different wools to offer.
I bought a variegated cotton and will finally try and master the granny square. Please don’t laugh, I’m a knitter so the granny square is a challenge for me.
So, that is what I will be doing now, but not before I share the event of the weekend with you.
