There is a chill in the air………….
The only solution might be a cosy fire with a warm drink and my knitting of course.
My lovely wrap is almost complete, much needed with the cold weather forecast for the next few days. I really enjoyed knitting this. At first I had to concentrate to get the pattern correct, but within no time the rhythm appeared and I managed to create another lovely garment. I do get asked, how many shawls do you need? Well, you never know, one of these lovely shawls might just be for you 🙂
The shawl is called Tycho by Natasja Hornby and is available on Ravelry.
I knitted it in a lovely wool from Manos del Uruguay, Manos Silk Blend a beautifully soft merino and silk blend.
Here we go, this is what happens when I don’t complete my blog post…….. I keep knitting and voila! My wrap is complete. I have worn it already, it is so toasty. The blocking will have to wait this time.
Hope you are all nice and toasty too
love E x
Well what do I say? Not going to make excuses, but just so you know I’m back 🙂
I have (finally) managed to create my very own website and am lucky enough to keep it very plain and simple www.elaklein.com
It is still very much in its infancy, I will be working on getting it better as I go along.
For this I would like to have your help please. Please be honest with your critique, I’m happy to hear all your recommendations.
Other than that I have been very busy knitting, sewing, cooking and eating…. The ladies I teach are all so creative a wonderful inspiration to me.
It is this time of the year again Unravel at the Farnham Maltings is taking place on Friday 16th – Sunday 18th February
If you are lucky enough to get to it, I highly recommend it. Workshops, talks, exhibitions and so many lovely suppliers, you will love every minute of it. It is not only about knitting, but also about crochet and other bits and pieces to do with yarns.
Please let me know what you have been doing.
lots of love
